BUILDING A COMMUNITY
This week we brainstormed up a list of community spaces and then broke into pairs to create one of these spaces. We thought about WHY each of the spaces was created and WHAT it provides for the community. The 5/6s and 6/7s showed their ideas using blocks, by adding signs, and by creating typical objects and items related to their community spaces. Each team presented their work to the whole group this morning. It was delightful to hear them speak so thoughtfully and eloquently about their ideas.
