THE NORTHSHIRE BOOKSTORE

With trip-books and pencils in hand, we took off on our first official observational excursion to The Northshire Bookstore (the focus of the whole-group portion of our study of the Manchester community). Together we will think and learn about everything from why it is a part of this community, to when it was created, to how it serves people’s needs and wants, to who works there, to how the space is used, and to how this business operates. We already have heaps of questions and as we delve deeper into our understanding of the community we hope to answer some of these and think of many, many more!

This is what it looks like when seven determined, thorough, and thoughtful investigators come-a-knocking…

CLIMBING

During the downpour on Thursday we stepped out of the rain and into the barn, kicked off our boots, and climbed the rafters… ok, maybe not the rafters, but we certainly dominated the climbing wall.
